Unified Committee Review Portal
The centralized review interface gives committee members verified context: competition tier, international eligibility, prior ballot history, primary documentation, and codified scoring calculations.
As Chair of the USA Fencing Hall of Fame Committee, I transformed scattered historical records, subjective criteria, and fragmented notes into an auditable public governance system backed by a Neon PostgreSQL rubric database, committee review portal, and automated ballot build pipeline.
My onboarding as Chair was a single sentence: "Congratulations, you inherited a mess." USA Fencing Hall of Fame elections carried decades of institutional weight, but the operating substrate was completely manual, opaque, and vulnerable to procedural disputes.
Rather than relying on informal consensus, I designed and deployed an auditable governance pipeline: data modeling across nominees and achievements, quantitative rubric definitions in PostgreSQL, a unified committee review portal, and automated ballot generation. The result was not merely a website, but an auditable institutional operating system built on total procedural transparency.
The centralized review interface gives committee members verified context: competition tier, international eligibility, prior ballot history, primary documentation, and codified scoring calculations.
Athlete records, induction categories, career achievements, and eligibility parameters structured in standardized JSON schemas, eliminating fragmented spreadsheets.
Translates normalized athlete data into standardized evaluation dossiers, ensuring committee voting remains focused on objective criteria.
Rubric weights, event point scales, and eligibility thresholds modeled directly within a serverless Neon PostgreSQL database for auditable evaluation.
Deterministic Node.js script enforcing strict category quotas, rendering ballot templates, and compiling production outputs without manual manipulation.
A fully traceable governance ecosystem connecting raw achievement metrics, database scoring queries, committee review dashboards, and final member ballots.

Decades of historical records, disputed criteria, and manual deliberations unified into a single mandate.
Formulated a formal 6-entity data schema mapping candidates, credentials, categories, rules, and ballots.
Modeled 36 objective scoring algorithms in Neon PostgreSQL, removing subjective committee bias.
Deployed a secure review interface providing members with uniform candidate dossiers and direct citation trails.
Executed automated build scripts generating tamper-evident ballots and public voter guide outputs.
High-stakes leadership cannot rely on tribal knowledge or subjective discretion. Whether managing national sports governance or corporate enterprise workflows, sustainable trust requires transparent data models, objective rubrics, and automated execution.
By architecting this system from the database layer to the public ballot interface, I established a repeatable governance precedent that protects institutional integrity while eliminating friction for all stakeholders.
I bring an Olympic athletic background to fuel the relentless discipline required to execute, a deep research background focused on hyper-targeted strategy, and the grit of the immigrant experience. I rely on hard analytics and behavioral strategy to build resilient operational systems that help businesses actually run.
